Metal and me. I have always had a love of metal; not seeing it sitting on the shelf or on the rack but using it. I love the way I can make it look and feel. Not harsh and cold like one would expect but fabric-like with movement and grace. The smell when welding and the colour that I magic onto the surface of the metal using heat, completes my emotional response.

Although the sculptural metal work does not feature heavily in my life at the moment, it does not mean the affair is over; it just means I am besotted with something else. However you could commission me to make a piece especially for you.

On my quest to hone my skills and gain an understand of art, I dived head first into further education where after studying for 3 years I was seduced by another metal... silver. Creating beautiful textured jewellery inspired by oceans, beaches and river banks is my current focus. An exciting opportunity presented itself to take on a studio with shop frontage in St Andrew Street, Hertford. For the moment this has taken over my life.  bazzymart@yahoo.co.uk
