I have always seen myself as a tutor first and then as an artist but since a serious illness the tables have turned. My own work has been in a variety of media ie ceramics, pastels and a wide range of textiles exploring a contemporary approach to such traditional art forms as tapestry, quilting and soft sculpture.
Colour is the source of all my work and ideas flow from there. I simply open my many pastel boxes or look at all my wools and off I go. carinuk@googlemail.com
