Goal reached

Another successful and well-attended show and we are delighted to have raised around £800. This has enabled us to buy a complete football strip for Oak View special needs school in Loughton and, as you can see from our picture, the boys look very smart. Let’s hope the new look spurs them on to many victories!

We also made a substantial donation to our main charity - Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

A big thank you to all the exhibitors, helpers and visitors to Gravelly Barn and we look forward to welcoming you all again this year

Galloping success

The winner of our name the rocking horse draw was Debbie Hoy, who picked Bernard.  She has given it to friends’ daughters Amy, 7 (left),

and Natalie 3,  who seem delighted with their new “pet” . Here is what Debbie said:

“They love him and will get a lot of joy from him.  He has given lots of rides, has been told stories and

had his mane and tail brushed

and eaten lots of imaginary carrots and apples.”

Many thanks to Annette Karmiloff-Smith who kindly donated the horse.

Breakthrough

Since the death of Jane’s sister Norma in 2006, family, friends and supporters have been raising money for the Norma Adams Crocus Tribute Fund at Breakthrough. We are so happy to announce that our current total stand at over £35,000!!! Thanks to all those who have helped to make this fantastic total possible and helping to fund the continuing work to seek cures to

this disease
