The work I have exhibited recently at Gravelly Barn has been inspired by the family collection of buttons gathered and saved over many decades by thrifty grandmothers, aunts and the wider family.  Once the word was out, people were sending me buttons from far and wide!  

I have designed the ‘Button It!’ collection, which is made up of brightly coloured, recycled buttons along with felted textiles to make funky earrings, badges and bangles.

I am a 15-year-old student at Freeman College, Buntingford, and have previously exhibited and sold paintings.  I am currently working towards my GCSEs, including Art and Graphics.  I have a strong interest in art and 3D design and will be pursuing a career in that field. cheekymonkey146@hotmail.co.uk
