Christmastime

November 16-19 2017

We always feel, here at Gravelly Barn, that the festive season is upon us when we hold our annual Christmastime exhibition. We had hundreds of visitors over the four days, buying presents, viewing the art and enjoying the seasonal refreshments. The variety of work on display was again wide and skilled, including painting, photography, prints, pottery, wood craft, jewellery, cards, glass, decorations, woollen gifts, a St Elizabeth’s gift stall and much much more.

This year we raised a wonderful £2,300, which will go to our two charities: Breast Cancer Now and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Our donation to the latter means that we can now name our own guide dog (more of this to come in following weeks. St Elizabeth’s Centre in Perry Green raised a further £700 for its work with people of all ages suffering from epilepsy.

As always we are grateful for all those who visited us, bought items, entered the number raffle, made cakes and helped behind the scenes. We couldn’t do this without your continued support.
